Michigan Screening Extravaganza!!!

We did a full theatrical tour of the film across the US last fall, but we didn’t book any dates in the state of Michigan. That is being corrected in a big way in April, starting with an event  at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. U of M Professor Dan Herbert has a new book, Videoland, which takes an in-depth look at the significance of  video store culture. He’ll be hosting a screening of the film on campus April 10th at 7:00 PM. He’ll also be doing a reading from his book the next afternoon for those who can’t get enough information on the home video boom.Photo Services, Kim Haskins
We’ll also be opening for a full two week run at the Urban Institute for Contemporary Arts in Grand Rapids, from April 11-24. The programming at this theater is very interesting, and they also have special events like “Open Projector Night” which turns the screen over to the public. If you live in these areas, come out and see the movie! If not, keep checking our Screenings page for more events.
